Hey, I’m Joe. I’m just a normal guy – for the most part. You may be asking yourself, “What does that mean?” The answer is revealed in my autobiography called Yielded To Healing Fire. I am an information design graduate from Mount Royal University and I have an affinity for making complex information easy to understand for the broadest audience possible.

This program has its challenges but I love it because there such a feeling of satisfaction when I break through a challenging assignment. Want to see what I mean? Take a look at my portfolio

I'm a technology as well as social media enthusiast. What do I want to do when I grow up – or graduate – whichever comes first is to help small to medium sized businesses to thrive online by establishing or growing their online presence through social media.

Information design is the defining, planning, and shaping of content and its environments with the intention of achieving particular objectives in relation to human needs.

The information designer is a problem solver and story teller. All of the work they do asks the questions: Who is the audience for my work? What is its content? What are the most effective ways to convey information? Data is central to the work of the information designer. The form it takes (both written and aesthetic) must be in the service of honest, responsible, and intentional depiction.
